Antique 18th century oak commode elbow chair

A nicely shaped and crafted 18th century antique oak commode elbow chair. The antique oak commode has a curved top with a central shaped splat and shaped open arms, square shaped seat with a hinged lid which opens to reveal a plastic bowl with lid, the plastic bowl is easily removed by lifting. A particularly pleasing and unique example of an antique oak commode. In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks. The antique oak commode remains structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Seat cushion inside the green cover may benefit for being replaced but still in usable condition.
